Kallie's Krusade 2014!

On October 4th the nonprofit Kallie's Krusade organization is holding an all day fundraising event at the Jamestown Savings Bank Arena that will begin at 9am with a Wellness Expo on Lafayette St. focused on detoxifying our lives.

There will be a motorcycle run starting at 10am and a 5k run/walk beginning at 11am. U.N.Y.T.S. will be conducting a blood drive and “Be The Match” is doing a bone marrow donor drive in the arena lobby until 2pm as well.

There will be lemonade stand to support Alex's Lemonade and a bake sale to support Cookies for Kids' Cancer, both of which directly support Pediatric Cancer Research.

Starting at 5pm the Sabres Alumni will be taking on Local Law Enforcement and several local coaches in a charity hockey game. During the hockey game there will be raffles, Chinese auctions and a 30 minute autograph session with the Sabres Alumni. For those that purchase VIP tickets the night will continue following the game with a catered after party with players from both teams.

All proceeds will go directly to Kallie's Krusade, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to assisting families dealing with the heartache of childhood illnesses. Kallie's Krusade will bring financial relief and community support to families stricken with childhood cancer and childhood disease. Please join us as Kallie's Krusade continues to "Fight Like a Girl" in our efforts of raising not only money, but knowledge and awareness to the cause.

For information on how you can be involved call 499-0814 or checkout Kallie’s Krusade’s Facebook page for details.

Salvation Army Music Program Fundaiser Effort

The Salvation Army is looking for some financial help.  Your business or your service organization might be able to contribute.  The Salvation Army oversees a small, free weekly music program with instrumental instruction, band, chorus and dance.  Over 95% of the children and youth who attend their current music programs come from underprivileged homes.  The Salvation Army currently lacks the resources to grow this program.  If you can help with any donation 100% will go to develop this program.

Donnie LaDolce Benefit

There will be a $10.00 donation at the door which will include good food and music, bake sale, auction, 50/50 drawings and more! Donnie was diagnosed with stage 4 Bone Cancer and is the process of finding out what treatments are going to take place. The Coyote Band would appreciate your support for this great musician!
