All Day Kidder Memorial UMC to Host Annual Rummage Sale Kidder Memorial United Methodist Church, located on the corner of S. Main Street and Cole Avenue in Jamestown, will host their annual rummage sale on Thursday, May 15th, 5-8pm; on Friday, May 16th, 9am-6pm; and on Saturday, May 17th, 9am-2pm. 6:00PM 9:00PM Learn to Make a Felted Owl at Audubon The Audubon Center & Sanctuary is offering an opportunity for you to learn a new skill that will serve you well and be great for gift making. On Thursday, May 15, from 6-9 p.m., Audubon is presenting a Needle-Felted Owl Workshop. Using wool roving and a barbed felting needle, you will sculpt an adorable owl. The basic techniques you learn in this class can be used for a wide variety of two- and three-dimensional projects. Participants keep their needle and foam board and will learn where to buy roving for future projects. Instructor Tracy Kirchhoff is a designer at Jamestown Kitchen and Bath. A nature lover and an outdoor sports enthusiast, she has worked in a variety of fiber arts and methods for several years. Class size is limited. The fee is $48, or $36 for Friends of the Nature Center, and includes all materials.
