Homeowner Education Workshop on Septic Systems |
|
This workshop is sponsored by Chautauqua County and Cornell University and is designed for people who have private-dwelling septic systems and live along the shoreline of Chautauqua Lake or its tributary streams. Information will be presented on the operation of home septic systems, and on new regulations being develooped by the Chautauqua County Health Department. |

Drug Awareness Night |

The Tidioute Community Charter School (TCCS), in Tidioute PA, SADD group will be hosting their 2nd annual Drug Awareness Night on March 6, 2013 from 6:30-8:30. Justin Ludwig will be the keynote speaker and local law enforcement will be presenting information on prescription drugs. Also, there will be speakers who will be presenting autobiographical experience about their prior drug addiction how they overcame their addiction, and their approach to staying clean. The event will be in the gymnasium at the school and is FREE to the public. There will be a bake sale during intermission. All of the proceeds of the bake sale will go to the Melissa Courtney Scholarship fund that is given to one of TCCS seniors. We will also be selling hotdogs, soda, and popcorn before the presentation and during intermission. |
